Chemical Equation Balancer 1.7
Upas Narayan
Ever needed to balance a chemical equation butcouldn't do it by hand? This chemical equation balancingapplication will balance all types of equations in a fraction of asecond. Just type the equation in, making elements capitalized andcompounds separated by a "+" sign and an "=" sign to show the otherside, along with the products. Touch "Balance" and your equationwill be balanced in an instant! This application includes added support for insertingparentheses for polyatomic ions and brackets for charges inoxidation/reduction reactions. For an equation containing polyatomic ions, if there is only onemolecule of the ion, such as in H(NO3), DO NOT insert theparentheses, and instead input HNO3.For a redox equation, make sure that every compound has abracket with a charge, even if a compound has no charge. For apositive charge, for example, input [2], for a negative charge,[-2], and for a charge of 0, [0]. DO NOT INPUT [+2].Sample Equations:C6H12O6 + O2 = CO2 + H2OH2 + O2 = H2OAgI + Pb(NO3)2 = AgNO3 + PbI2Ca(OH)2 + (NH4)3PO4 = Ca3(PO4)2 + NH4OHCr2O7[-2] + H[1] + Fe[2] = Cr[3] + H2O + Fe[3]Cu[0] + Ag[1] = Cu[2] + Ag[0]This application operates offline, without the use of theInternet, by solely using mathematical algorithms to findcoefficients of compounds. If you encounter any issues with the application, feel free tocontact me via email ([email protected]). I am always open tosuggestions that will improve the quality of this application.Otherwise, happy balancing!NOTE: Please read the "Help" section under the menu on theapplication for additional and detailed instructions. Thisapplication does not solve equations. It only balances completeequations with compounds on both sides. Invalid equations enteredwill cause errors to be thrown.
